Club Information
IPMS Farnborough is one of the oldest IPMS branches. However, you do not have to be a member of IPMS to visit us; all modellers are very welcome.
Our aim is to expand and improve the hobby of scale modelling. We do this through:
* Holding regular. monthly meetings
* Having our own, annual model show, Modelfest
* Exhibiting at model shows and events throughout the year
* Attending and exhibiting at the IPMS-UK Scale Modelworld show every year
The membership includes a wide cross-section of age ranges, backgrounds and occupations. Their modelling interests cover aircraft, military vehicles, cars, trucks, ships, figures and science fiction subjects.
Our regular branch meetings:
* Provide a meeting place for modellers to socialise
* Allow the exchange techniques, tips and information
* Are a market place and swap-shop for all kinds of modelling-related items
* Include displays and competitions to inspire everyone
Branch meetings are held on the second Monday of every month, from 8pm to 11pm.
