Once all the major airframe pieces were together, it was time to prep for paint. I used Testors dark earth to cover the entire upper surfaces. Then, I used paper masks to prepare for the dark green. The top and side views in the Airfix instructions were enlarged 150 percent to match the model. I cut the “brown” segments out as a mask. Rolled tape lifts the paper masks off the surface to create a hint of softness to the sprayed edge.
