Clif's version of the Yuanxing Liang-designed 1/2 scale Peach Blossom Island was unchanged except for the addition of eyelashes to the resin parts. The amazing work includes acrylic and oil paints, alcohol inks, metallic waxes, and pastels. "The big trick was painting the underwater part," Clif says. He didn't color the clear plastic but instead ran a line of blue along the edge of the ripples which bestowed a blue hue to the whole piece.
