To build the HMS Hood in 1940, Dave backdated a Trumpeter 1/350 scale kit with a 50-foot steam pinnacle and forward mast. He airbrushed the battlecruiser with Humbrol and Model Master enamels over pre-shading and weathered with pastels and washes.
